Climate Change Green Paper to follow Summit

Victoria’s Climate Change Summit, held on Friday 4 April 2008 at Parliament House, drew on the best ideas from the community to ensure our state stays at the forefront of this crucial issue.

100 Summit delegates were chosen to share their views on this crucial issue. They represented a broad cross section of the Victorian community, coming from industry, non government organisations, peak bodies, local government, community groups and regional Victoria.

After the summit, a discussion paper was released that allowed the community to continue the conversation about the future direction of climate change policy and action. Many people responded to the discussion paper with those submissions now available online. This information will feed into the Climate Change Green Paper, to be released in early 2009.
