The Victorian Government has committed to restoring Victoria as a leader in climate change action.

The Victorian Government is building a Climate Change Framework for action, which will be released in 2016.

The Framework will be developed through community consultation and will include the development of a shared vision for a climate-ready Victoria and the role of all Victorians to support this vision. It will set out the key priorities for the Victorian Government in climate change action in emissions reduction and adaptation.

By developing a shared vision for a Climate Ready Victoria, and identifying the opportunities and barriers, we can build on the work Victorians are already doing to adapt to the effects of climate change and reduce our greenhouse gas emissions.
